A brilliant first Saturday session of the new cyclocross season with a great turnout of over thirty riders at Hillyfields this morning.
Riders tackled a series of different parts of the course with sections on starting, cornering and of course hills! Much fun was had.
The highlight of the day was Helen Wilson’s stall – Helen is running the London Marathon in a few weeks and is raising money for St Helena Hospice. I am proud to say that the Youth section raised a whopping £130 this morning from Helen’s coffe and cake stall, which also included a raffle and a ‘Guess the sweeties in the jar’ competition!
