  • Youth account: Loss £1,825.85.
  • Total club funds very strong.
  • Donations: £560 Essex Air Ambulance, £400 Cherry Tree House.
  • Youth support: ~£4,000 (including £2,750 for national-level riders).

Chairman’s Report – Maggie

  • Personal challenges led to reduced involvement; stepping down as Chairman.
  • Club highlights:
    • Successful events: Joke Bodily race, Wednesday TTs, reliability rides, sportive.
    • Youth achievements: Coaching sessions, national-level participation, Elizabeth Wall won 1st place nationally.
    • Prize presentation dinner held at Marriott Hotel.

Youth Report – Simon

  • Focus on cyclocross and grass track; increased participation.
  • Nine riders in National Trophy races.
  • Plans to review financial support model for next year.
  • Youth riders also active in MTB and road racing.

Membership Fees – Justin

  • Agreed changes:
    • Youth/Junior: £0.01 → £10.
    • Over 65’s: £10 → £15.
    • Adult: £18 → £20.
    • Couples: £30.
    • Family: £24 → £36.
  • Proposal carried unanimously.

MTB Report – John

  • Good year with leisure rides and competitive MTB East series.
  • Plans for more leisure rides and possible off-road sportive.

TT Report – Matt

  • 23-event evening TT series completed.
  • Plans for 2026: 22 evening TTs, hill climb, two open events.
  • Entries via CTT website from March.
  • Emphasis on rider volunteering for event support.

Committee Elections – Maggie

  • Chairman: No volunteer; interim solution—Nick and Maggie as joint Vice-Chairs.
  • Other roles confirmed; some vacancies remain (e.g., Social Secretary, Saturday Club Run Captain).

Other Business

  • Discussion on low AGM attendance and ideas for better engagement (e.g., Zoom meetings, incentives).
  • Review Thursday track sessions for value and participation.
  • Confirmed: Future Bikes continues discount; Thomas Cycles discount withdrawn.
