The eagle eyed among you may already have noticed the new Hill Climb on the Rovers Time Trial calendar. Now confirmed, this is not an open CTT event, but a “members plus invited guests” hill climb on Burnt Dick Hill on 6th October. Sign on from 10:30 at Nayland Village Hall.
Spectators are also very welcome – there are wide grass verges on the side of the hill so the more shouting and cowbells the better! Cake and coffee afterwards to accompany the prize ceremony back at HQ.
Club teams of 3-5 riders will be eligible for the team prize; team members will also be eligible for individual prizes. Prize categories to follow; first timers strongly encouraged!
Youth riders age 12 and older are encouraged to ride this event which is located on a very quiet road.
We are really trying to encourage our all social ride members to give this a go. The effort should be no more than 2 minutes and it is a chance to properly race your friends and riding buddies to find out who is fastest up a decent hill.
Please enter in advance if you can so we can get an idea of numbers. But entry on the day at the HQ is also welcome.

£4 pre-entry, £5 on the day. U16 £2.
