Last Sunday saw the racing return to our home turf in the shape of the annual VCR cyclocross event. As always this was an extremely well-run occasion with race organiser David Hales having devised a new and challenging circuit for adults and children alike. The U8s, 10s and 12s were faced with what can only be described as a savage course which would have made grown men weep, but with their usual tenacity they took it on with gusto. Well done to all who completed, it hurt me just watching…
