3 new members, 202 total members.
Youth Team & Development – Nick on behalf of Simon
Youth training dashboard ran by Tom sent via email
Grass track started again with very good numbers.
Tom has completed a coaching qualification.
Road & Circuit Racing – Nick on behalf of Greg
Next circuit races are scheduled for late August.
Joint sessions with VCR continue. £5 fee remains for now; review after several weeks.
Plan to compare weekly numbers with VCR to split costs fairly.
Track Booking Issue: Northern Gateway double‑booked the track. VCR’s block booking not recognised. Riders waited; some rode elsewhere.
Action: Nick to ensure the club is not invoiced for that session. Riders who paid will be credited to a future session.
Time Trials – Matt
Six weeks into TT season. Weekly turnout: 18–20 riders, including several new and female riders.
Open TT on 21 June likely to be cancelled due to roadworks. No backup 25-mile course available.
Inter‑club TTs: 3 planned; first on 21st. Riders must notify Matt to be entered.
Hosting Sudbury on 8 July. Marshal Requirements
Club must provide marshals for two CTT open events. Allocation based on previous year’s rider participation.
Safeguarding – Jacqui
Issue raised regarding an under‑18 rider attending a club ride without clear parental consent. Concerns: Responsibility for the child during the ride. What happens if the child is injured or becomes separated. Legal implications.
Jacqui has drafted a new safeguarding policy covering: Parental consent requirements. Responsibilities of club members. Procedures for under‑18 participation.
Action: Policy to be shared with Nick and Maggie – Jacqui.
Storage Container/Bike Boxes – Nick
Cannot have a container on the Sports park site, but we have an agreement to store bikes which will be used for the grass track.
Action: Shrub End, Nick to speak to /write letter to Steve Collis who is the Parks and Rec officer for the council.
Dunwich Dynamo – Paul
23rd July. Paul can help with driving but not a mini bus. People go to London on the train, bikes will go on van and meet in London and then take bikes at finish. Club will support with the price of the van & supported riders for free.
Cycle transportation Dominique Berry – airport transport venture.
Action: Nick to put details on FB pages.
Action: Paul to check how many people are interested, Nick to create Evenbright and Julie to put into news letter.

Colin raised concerns about the future of the grass track container.
Discussion about group riding disciplines at VCR sessions.
Timing software improvements expected.
