The second of two consecutive days of racing for some our Youth contingent, this time at the Travers MTB series in the south of the county, in which they again packed out the podium with a second and third place in their Juvenile category. It is worth mentioning too that both William and George are in the same race category as 16 year-olds, as well as racing at the same time as one of the adult races – not all of whom enjoyed being overtaken by 12 year-olds! Well done boys.
Great job as well from Ewan Tomlin, a recent recruit to the sessions at Hillyfields who did his first race today!
Superb ride from Zoe Swainston, winning her category and placing second in the Elite Female category – way to go Zoe! What a great effort from a young lady who also devotes so much time to helping out with coaching the younger riders in the club, a real credit to the club.
