In marked contrast to yesterday’s weather, the sun shone down on the Rovers who made the journey to the south of the county to race in the excellent Travers MTB Series.
We were represented in all races and one of the most well-represented clubs there. Some unconfirmed results are a second place for Zoe in the Elite Women and second and third respectively for Isaac and George in the Juvenile men. Father and son duo Dan and Peter also raced as well as new recruit Ewan in the Boys race.
There were several other second-claim Rovers representing Colchester, as well as ex-Rovers Youth rider Cam Hurst taking the victory in the Elite race.
