A longer journey resulted in a smaller turnout at today’s latest round of the excellent Mud, Sweat & Gears series which nevertheless proved a happy hunting ground for Isaac with a win in the U13 Expert race. There was also representation from Ciaran who has been a regular at the Saturday morning sessions and is a recent second-claim addition to the club. It was great to meet up with brand new member Oscar Karta-Smith for the first time who had an outstanding race in Division 4 Men coming out with a win at the age of 14 – this young man clearly has a bright future and we look forward to working with him!
Sarah Thomas also competed in the Women’s race and finished well, despite a puncture mid-race.
