Jack raced his first race for CRCC at Lotus Cars Cycle Race League (round 5 of 6) yesterday evening in the Youth C (U12) boys race.
Jack’s closest rival was unfortunately a non starter, which resulted in a reduced field of 7.
Jack made a very strong start from the off, immediately breaking away from the small peloton at the start of the first lap and effectively riding an individual time trial for a comfortable win. Jack finished the 7 lap race in a time of 17:02.0, finishing 1m 13s ahead of the second place rider on the road.
