44 young riders graced the tarmac of the Colchester Northern Gateway this morning for a top session on braking and group riding. It is great to see so many new faces each week as well the increasing number of returning riders. We also welcomed Malcolm and Maggie Hargreaves (Maggie is the main club secretary and treasurer and Malcolm is the organiser of the annual Jock Wadley race) who wanted to see how well the sessions were running – it was lovely to see them there!
In addition to a record turnout we also saw the youth one lap time trial record beaten again with a 2:28 (from a standing start!) – well done Ollie!
