Last night saw a number of our caoching team attending the British Cycling Eastern Region Coaching Awards held this year at the Northern Gateway. I am delighted to say that we had nominations in both Youth Volunteer of the Year and Coach of the Year categories, and even more delighted to announce that we won both with Zoe Swainston and Simon Wilson respectively, with Dan Hall also coming in the top three in the Young Volunteer category!
This is real testament to all of the hard work and enthusiasm they have all shown over what has been a difficult year, but also a reflection of how our coaching provision has flourished with our whole coaching team really stepping up to provide great support for our riders. Here’s to continued success in 2022!
